Andrew spent considerable time involved in public practice accounting at Grant Thornton LLP & Davidson & Company LLP advising clients and working with TSX & TSX Venture listed companies in the Americas, Europe, Africa, & Asia.
As an investment banker with Dundee Securities Ltd. he performed numerous valuations on resource companies within the precious and base metals sectors. He has been involved with merger and acquisition pitches ranging in value from sub C$100M to over C$1B for various resource companies headquartered in North America. He has advised clients on hostile defense mandates, corporate strategy, and alternative scenarios to ensure optimized value is realized from each transaction having successfully executed on over C$100M in deals.
As a merchant banker with Dundee Goodman Merchant Partners he analyzed and performed due diligence on precious and base metal explorers and developers on the TSX, TSX.V, ASX, and LSE to allocate capital as part of the mandate of the funds managed.
His contributions to the resource community involve acting as an Executive Officer with the Vancouver Chapter of Young Mining Professionals, a not-for-profit, which holds networking events for young professionals in Vancouver's metals & mining industry.

Colin has over a decade of private equity, investment banking, valuation, M&A, and engineering experience exclusively focused on the mining industry. Colin began his career as a mining engineer, working both in operations and as a consultant in support of feasibility studies, before returning to Queen’s University to complete a Masters of Business Administration.
Utilizing his technical background he transitioned to mining corporate finance, and has worked on both the sell-side with BMO Capital Markets, and buy-side with Waterton Global Resource Management (US$2B AUM), and most recently Pacific Road Capital (US$800M AUM) acting as a core member of the mining investment team.
During his time as part of a top-tier mining investment banking team in Toronto, Colin acted as financial advisor to some of the largest public resource companies in the world. His experience included executing capital-raising activities, advising on corporate strategy and capital markets, and supporting M&A processes on both live and prospective transactions.
As a private equity investment professional, Colin has performed due diligence on projects around the globe, and across most major commodities, including base metals, precious metals, energy metals, rare earths, and specialty commodities.
